INPRS confirms $250m in commitments

The US public pension has backed three private equity funds.

Indiana Public Retirement System confirmed $250 million-worth of commitments to private equity funds at its September board meeting, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International.

The commitments comprise $100 million to Oaktree Opportunities Fund XI and $75 million apiece to New Mountain Partners VI and GSO Capital Opportunities Fund IV.

The $38.43 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 10 percent.
