LACERA makes additional commitment of $100m to Siris Capital Group

The US retirement system has backed a healthcare and technology fund.

The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) reuped with Siris Capital Group, making an additional commitment of $100 million to Siris Partners IV, according to an agenda for the board of investments meeting held on November 8th. Siris Partners IV targets North American buyout investments in a variety of sectors including healthcare and technology.

The $55.95 billion US retirement system has a 10.3% allocation to private equity, which is 0.3% above its target allocation of 10%.
