LAFPP approves $116m in commitments

The US public pension has backed four North America focused funds.

Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension System approved commitments of $18.5 million to Platinum Equity Small Cap Fund, $40 million to Thoma Bravo Fund XIII, $7.5 million to Reach II and $50 million to Almanac Realty Securities VIII.

The $21 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 8.66 percent.
