MassPRIM approves $600m in commitments

The US public pension has backed North America- and Europe-focused funds.

Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board has approved commitments of $300 million to Hellman & Friedman Capital Partners IX, $150 million to Lovell Minnick Equity Partners V and $150 million to Technology Crossover Ventures X.

The $72 billion US public pension has a 12 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 10.8 percent.
