Njord Capital has held a final close of its second Europe-focused fund, Njord Special Situations Fund II, at €271 million, surpassing the initial target of €250 million. The fund will invest across the capital structure (debt and/or equity) in European middle-market companies with special financing needs. It will pursue both primary and secondary opportunities.
The fund’s investor base consists of European insurance companies, pension funds, funds of funds and family offices.
