NMSIC approves $140m in commitments

New Mexico State Investment Council has approved $140 million-worth of private commitments to two funds, a contact at the sovereign wealth fund informed Private Equity International.

The commitments comprised of $40 million to ICONIQ Strategic Partners VI and $100 million to Strategic Value Special Situations Fund V.

The $31.27 billion US sovereign wealth fund has a 12 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 9.34 percent.
