Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund has agreed to commit $40 million to Harvest Partners VIII, as disclosed to Private Equity International by a contact at the firm. This fund is managed by Harvest Partners. The pension fund has previously committed to Harvest Partners VI ($25.00 million) and VII ($40.00 million).

The $14.70 billion US public pension has a current and target private equity allocation of 8.00 percent.

Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund has made four commitments to funds focused on private equity with a 2018 vintage, which combined constitute $130 million.
