Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS) has agreed to commit $150 million to Searchlight Capital III, $100 million to Falko Regional Aircraft Opportunities Fund II and $100 million to Clearlake Opportunities Partners II, according to the pension’s February board meeting minutes.
The $54.08 billion US public pension has a 16.0 percent target allocation to private equity which currently stands at 15.40 percent.
As illustrated in the charts below, PSERS has made three commitments to private equity funds with a vintage of 2019, which combined constitute $400 million.
