Rhode Island State Treasury approves $50m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two North American private equity funds.

Rhode Island State Treasury has approved commitments of $30 million to Clearlake Opportunities Partners II and $20 million to Eureka IV, according to a recent report on the pension’s website.

The $8.26 billion US public pension has a 7.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 6.60 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, Rhode Island State Treasury has made three commitments to private equity funds with a 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $100 million.
