SCERS approves $45m in commitments

The US public pension backed two vehicles in its latest round of commitments.

Sacramento County Employees’ Retirement System approved a commitment of $20 million to Summit Partners Venture Capital V and a $25 million commitment to Spectrum Equity Fund IX.

The $9.26 billion US public pension has a 9 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 9.5 percent.
