TMRS approves over $350m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two buyout funds.

Texas Municipal Retirement System has approved buyout fund commitments of $200 million to H.I.G. Strategic Partners Fund and $100 million to its co-investment and of €45 million to CapVest Equity Partners IV.

The $28 billion US public pension has a 5 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 1.2 percent.
