University of Vermont approves $5m commitment

University of Vermont has approved a motion to commit $5 million to the venture capital fund, Ecosystem Integrity Fund III, according to the December minutes of the investment subcommittee. The fund invests in the clean tech, renewable and natural resources sectors.

The $654.69 million university endowment has an undisclosed target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 9.09%.
